How is it possible that this little 6.7 lb angel is going to be 20 months old in just 7 short days? As many of you know we are a lucky 17 household. Justin born April 17th, myself May 17th, and Emerson September 17th. When we were in the hospital with my blood pressure rising Dr. Mascorro came right in after keeping me overnight and said we are going to induce you in the morning for the safety of yourself and your unborn child. I felt confident it was the right decision because I had such confidence in my doctor that is why I chose her and drove 1.5 hrs for each and every appointment. I was only 37 weeks and I was just praying for a healthy baby girl hopefully weighing 7 pounds. We weren't exactly prepared for her to come this early. We didn't have the bags in the car so we were staying the hospital with the clothes on our backs. After the induction decision was made Justin drove home (1.5 hrs) to get our bags and get things in order for her arrival. I was thinking...what I'm not ready I haven't even ordered my BOB stroller yet. These are the crazy things going through my mind. I called Justin on his way and I said do you know what tomorrow is? He replied yes I just looked, tomorrow is the 17th and I have tears in my eyes. God knew when she would be born and he chose the 17th. We are so thankful for this healthy, happy, baby girl. She is growing up way too fast and I want to stop time. Emerson is so sweet. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She talks nonstop. She has an amazing sense of humor. I just love spending all of my time with her. I love watching her grow into the amazing woman I know she will become.
