My sweet angel Emerson

Justin and I have not been going to church as much as we would like to so for the new year that is our goal. There are many reasons/excuses - Sunday is Justin's only day off, football, and Justin has been working nonstop on the restaurant which leaves zero free time. We went to church yesterday and we snapped a few pics before we left. I'm not sure how Mom's can manage to "get dressed" with 2 or more children when I struggle so much doing it with one. I teased Justin Sunday that it was a miracle that I straightened my hair and applied make-up on both Saturday and Sunday. It may be a first since Miss E arrived! I can't even believe that my little baby is 16 1/2 months old. How does it go by so fast? She is so sweet and really affectionate. She is talking up a storm and growing too fast. I thank God for her each night and I tell Justin she is definitely my greatest accomplishment and gift from God.

Christmas 2010

Christmas was wonderful and we are so blessed to have such a beautiful little girl that amazes us each day. Emerson was a little overwhelmed by all of the gifts but I know she will enjoy all of them once things settle down and we are back to our normal routine. We are so thankful for the time she gets to spend with her grandparents during holidays and love to see their relationship flourish. We are so thankful for time we get to spend together as a family since Justin works so much we truly cherish these moments. 2010 has been a wonderful year and we are blessed with love and health. I always knew I would love my child but I never knew how much I would truly LIKE her. She is so smart, funny, innocent and full of life. I love spending all of my time with her watching her learn and grow.

Visiting Neiman Marcus

We took Emerson to see Santa at the downtown Neiman Marcus which I hope to be a tradition from here on out. Each year they hire a different artist to design a tree and they are amazing! This year was a space theme. The kids could slide down a tunnel and the sidewalk had interactive tv's with video to see yourself. Emerson was not really feeling Santa as you can see below however after this photo she decided to run in front of kids and try to get to him.
