Fall in Love

Emerson is loving the beautiful fall weather and so is Mommy! I love this little girl with all that I have. She is the happiest little girl on the planet and brings my heart so much joy each day.

The First Year

Dearest Emerson,

I can't believe the first year has already come and gone. We are so blessed to have the most amazing daughter in the world. Thank you for your belly laughs and constant smile. Thank you for your curiousness and eagerness to learn. Thank you for letting us chase you around the house and seeing the joy it brings to you. Thank you for keeping us on our toes as you get into everything! Thank you for out smarting child proofing and still finding a way to get what you want. Thank you for letting me hold you while you drink milk from your big girl sippy cup. Thank you for splashing in the bathtub. Thank you for blowing kisses and waving hello/goodbye. Thank you for saying mama and daddy. Thank you for peaceful sleep and continuous play when you are awake. Thank you for that huge smile and reach when we greet you in your crib. Thank you for being you. This has been the best year of our lives and we will continue to cherish each moment with you. Love, Mommy and Daddy

EMERSON'S 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY

We had Emerson's 1st birthday party Labor Day weekend at my mom's house. After months of planning we think it turned out perfectly. Meme (E's great-grandmother) flew in from Florida for the event as well as many other close friends/family attended. We had a friend take photos since we knew we would be running around the entire time and he took over 400 AMAZING photos. We couldn't be happier with the pictures and will cherish them forever.
